One more thing aside from the weight that can be considered a con for the G502 is how narrow it is. My hand size is 19.5 cm and the width of my palm is a little over 3.5 inches. I had to adapt to the G502's weight and the forced claw grip. I'm a natural palm grip and the transition hasn't been easy. I've tried holding the G502 like this but I felt that I'm putting a lot of weight on my pinky finger so I switched to a claw grip when I use this mouse. It looks like a palm grip from the top but from the side it is a fingertip grip. This is most likely how you will hold a G502 using a fingertip grip style. I know it comes down to preference at the end of the day but what do you guys think? Also heard the Zowie seems to have a slight input delay (I don't really play super competitively) Well at least this one doesn't have flaking coating. The FK1 seems to be a solid ambidextrous mouse but I have heard (and experienced first-hand) some general Zowie QC issues and I've heard things about the thin mouse feet, shell warping, led bleeding and scroll wheel misses. G502 seems to have a good sensor and solid clicks but I hear things about the metallic scroll wheel, the mouse feet and the weight. The Mionix Avior 7000 was my shortlist but I crossed it off because I felt it might be a bit small for me. I narrowed my choices to the Zowie FK1 and the Logitech G502. My hand is about 20 cm from base to the tip of my middle finger. I don't think I have a particular preference. The sensei also felt it tad bit too small for me and I felt the G9x was particularly small.Īs you can see, I mostly use I've used a fair share of ambidextrous and right handed style mice. My only complaint would be that I wish the Sensei/Logitech g9x had a sensor with no acceleration and coating (sensei). Aside from some quality control issues and wear/tear, these devices have all been pretty good to me. IME 3, G400, Zowie EC 1, Steelseries Sensei, Razer Diamondback, Logitech G9x
